Mr.
Zheng Xianmin, graduated from Economic Law Department
of China University of Political Science and Law with
a LL.B degree, is a partner of Beijing Tianru Law Firm.
Since his admission to the bar in 1993, he has primarily
engaged in company law, real estate and IPR related
legal areas. |

Mr.
Zheng Xianmin has served as long-term general legal
counsel and special legal counsel for scores of companies
such as Beijing Lisichen Group Company, providing legal
services in the area of M&A, investment, partnering
operations and share/equity transfer. In connection
with real estate law practice, he has served as long-term
general legal counsel and special legal counsel for
many real estate developers such as Beijing Financial
Street Real Estate Development Company Ltd., Hong Kong
Hengzhaojiye Real Estate Co., Ltd., Beijing Jintongtai
Real Estate Development Company Ltd., Beijing Jianrong
Property Management Co.,Ltd. and Huaxia Real Estate
Development Co., Ltd., providing legal services in the
area of project development and transfer, sales, bank
mortgage and property management. He represented the
clients, Beijing Jintongtai Real Estate Development
Co., Ltd. and Xisipu of France, in litigation proceedings
in connection with major contract disputes and real
estate project transfer disputes and he has successfully
helped many companies to settle, by alternative methods
of dispute resolution, various disputes involving real
estate project transfer, share/equity transfer and partnering
arrangement as well as debtor’s liability and creditor’s
rights. The major mortgage real estate projects he has
engaged in or participated in include Shiji Kemao Mansion,
Yulong Garden Residential District, Dangdai Chengshi
Garden and Baoxing Garden. |

In
the course of his practice, Mr. Zheng Xianming has emphasized
the integration of theory with practice and has participated
in the drafting and preparation of “Interpretation
and Practical Guide to Contract Law of PRC” which is
published by Jiuzhou Publishing House in 1999 (the advisor
to the book is Jiang Ping) and has contributed scores
of articles to People’s Daily (overseas edition), China
Securities, Beijing Youth Daily, Choice Shopping Guide,
Beijing Economic Daily, Beijing Real Estate, China Business
Law. Through the Internet, he has set up a column known
as Lawyer on Line to popularize legal knowledge and
answer various legal questions. |
